Schoolie the school bus

  1. Hi, I’m Schoolie the school bus. 

  2.  I come from North Carolina and I’m 10 years old.   

  3. I have been dropping kids off at school for years with the help of my driver Sue.  

  4. Everyday Sue starts me up and drives me around to pick up everyone that I need to. 

  5. I always have my lights on and stop sign out to pick everyone up.  

  6. I do this because safety is my top priority.  

  7. I always stop at railway crossings.  

  8. Also stoplights too. 

  9. I make sure that they don’t eat.  Also that the kids are clean.  

  10. Yet also, that they don’t be mean.  

  11. I help to keep them quiet and try to make them try it.  

  12. To help out all their peers.  

  13. Everyday I drive through town to get the kids to head the way…  

  14. They need to go to get to school today.

    I enjoyed reading your story. Some good word choices here and well organized from start to finish. You used your words very well. Good rhymes, clean/mean, way/ today, Sue/to, I was wondering who was eating what and then I remembered that kids are not allowed to eat or drink on the school bus so they don't get food and drinks all over each other. Do you think that you could look at that line again? You are working well toward your goals!!
